Fossil Free California supports divestment campaigns of all types – city, county, pension fund, or individual. Although we have a primary focus on our large state pension funds, we believe that every act of divestment helps speed the transition to 100% renewables. To that end, we form active alliances with climate activists on all levels. California’s cities and counties have important roles to play in the divestment movement.
